    The difference between these two is not always clear cut. You can always correctly identify a dangerous situation and be anxious about it. However, your anxiety reaction may be out of proportion to the real threat of the situation. 

Anxiety Attacks

Anxiety attacks are also known as panic attacks. It can be a symptom of an anxiety disorder. It is accompanied with changes on thoughts, behavior, and physiological or body changes. It usually last for several minutes. Anxiety attack can happen with or without a trigger.

  • Anxiety attacks caused by objective anxiety - Usually there is an object that will generate an anxiety attack. The symptoms of the anxiety attacks serve to warn you of a possible danger.
